This is a much larger space of approximately 4600 sq ft and will not only be able to accommodate more people for community events and activities, but will also provide more classroom space for the number of academy programs running for the community by IQRA. The first Jummah prayer at this location will be held on Jan 3, 2020 inshaAllah. We will continue to utilize this space for daily prayers, Jummah, Ramadan activities, and community events until completion of Phase 1 of the Khair building on Egypt Road.
Khair Phase 1 Building Progress:
We have engaged a local architect and engineer to complete the construction drawings required for our Phase 1 building permit. The drawings are anticipated to be completed by February 2020 and we will file for a building permit that month, inshaAllah.
Once our building permit is approved by the township, we will be ready to break ground inshaAllah. We estimate to break ground in the second quarter of 2020, insha’Allah. Construction timeline is estimated to be 12 months from breaking ground, inshaAllah. Fundraisers will be planned to collect funds the foundation/steel/framing/etc. Stay tuned for further updates, inshaAllah.
